Central Bank of Malta Governor, Professor Edward Scicluna, earlier this month, welcomed a delegation from Albania’s Financial Supervision Authority (AFSA) headed by General Executive Director, Ervin Mete. The delegation’s visit comes as part of a set of meetings the AFSA delegation is holding in Malta at the invitation of the Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA).
The Governor was accompanied by the Deputy Governor Mr Alexander Demarco, Mr Jesmond Gatt, Chief Officer for Banking and Mr Ahmed Hnesh, Officer from the Bank’s Eurosystem & International Relations Division. The AFSA delegation also included Ms Adriana Ristani – Chief Operation Officer; Mr Ervin Peci – Advisor, General Executive Director Cabinet, Mr Aldion Baze – Head of DLT-based Financial Markets Supervision Directorate, Ms Fatbardha Hebovia – Head of the Enforcement and AML Directorate and Ms Anxhela Dervishi – Head of Funds Market Supervision Directorate from AFSA.
