The new flight route from Malta to Debrecen International Airport will be operating twice a week on Wednesdays and Sundays from 31 March until 23 October.

The flight is the first of 13 new connections the MIA is adding during its 2019 summer schedule, which was launched 31 March.

“Given that Debrecen is home to Hungary’s largest university, it should come as no surprise that the city is well-known for its buzzing nightlife and a culturally rich calendar of events. In fact, the church serves as a stunning backdrop for numerous events and festivals which take place throughout the year in its main square: Kossuth tér,” the MIA press release says.
