MAPFRE Malta employees took St. Patrick’s Residential Home youth on a boat trip, according to a press release published by the group.

Several employees took their children to the activity so that they could integrate with the boys from the residential home.

“As always, it was both a pleasure and a privilege to spend time with the residents of St Patrick’s home. It is great to see how dedicated the carers and volunteers do their jobs at the residential home. It goes without saying that these boys deserve every ounce of the love and respect they receive,” said Kim Martin, Head of Underwriting at MAPFRE Middlesea.

The residential home provides accommodation to adolescents who need a place to stay away from home due to personal or social circumstances.

In addition, the organisation makes sure that all the youths are accompanied on their journey towards reintegration with their family of origin or independent living.

The post MAPFRE Malta takes residential home youth on boat trip first appeared on The Malta Business Weekly.

Heritage Malta (HM) is launching its summer programme for children in order to encourage them to try their hands at art more, according to a press release sent to Business Malta.

HM will do this by making them play with art while being in prehistoric areas maintained by Heritage Malta; under the shadows of a megalithic temple, close to the mysterious catacombs, in a palace or in an art museum.

“If your children dream of becoming artists, comic creators, writers, or are simply fascinated when listening to stories, Heritage Malta gives the opportunity to join its programme starting this month and ending in September,” Heritage Malta said in the press statement.

A €5-donation is requested for attending the programme, however, students who have collected all their Heritage Malta Passport stamps can attend for free. Tickets can be bought online and inside museums upon presentation of the Student Passport.

Heritage Malta has a passport scheme in place for teenagers and the elderly above the age of 60.
