David Gray, a director of the Angler Gaming Plc, passed away on 18 February at the age of 67 due to complications from his illness, according to a statement by the Board of Directors of Angler Gaming Plc.
Mr Gray was appointed as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Angler Gaming Plc from the very start of the company. He also acted as the CEO from July 2016 until September 2018, when he stepped down from the CEO position due to health problems. Still Mr Gray continued to serve as a director on the Board of Directors.
“David brought his remarkable passion, experience and energy to Angler Gaming Group. With his extensive expertise and competence in the gaming sector, David has provided an invaluable contribution to the growth and success of the company throughout the years. He will be sorely missed by the company,” Angler Gaming Group says in the announcement.
“The entire Angler Gaming Group mourns this loss,” the statement adds.
Angler Gaming Plc is a Maltese holding company listed on the Swedish stock exchange. It invests in companies which provide gaming services over the internet. Angler Gaming’s core business is to own and administer shareholding in internet gambling companies, the company says.
