Over the past months, APS Bank plc CEO Marcel Cassar has been invited to speak at various industry-leading events. Amongst these were ‘Financing the Transition to a Carbon Neutral Economy’, organised by the Central Bank of Malta, co-hosted with EIB, PwC’s ‘Financial Crime and Compliance Conference’, and FinanceMalta’s 15th Annual International Conference.

He was also a speaker at the MCAST conference, ‘Perceptions or Reality: Which skills are employers missing?’ and the keynote speaker at the Malta Stock Exchange (MSE) Annual Awards Dinner 2022. Other events included a public conference organized by the Malta Association of Small Shareholders (MASS) and an interview by the MSE in the Executive Spotlight series. Mr Cassar also participated at the Institute of Financial Services Annual Seminar titled ‘The ESG Journey: A pulse-check for the Maltese Economy’, as Chair of the Malta Bankers Association.

Cassar commented, “Participation at these events is an opportunity for business leaders to contribute their experience and share their insights on a wide range of issues. And it is also an occasion to listen and learn from the feedback received.”
