At a meeting held on Thursday 11th November, Giovanni Bartolotta, APS Bank Chief Risk Officer, was appointed to the Council of the Malta Association of Credit Management (MACM) for the next two years.

MACM was established in 2001 and became part of the Federation of European Credit Management Associations (FECMA) in 2003. It is a non-profit organisation providing credit management information to its members, promoting good credit management practices and encouraging an efficient framework in the collection of payables. Members of MACM hail from all sectors of the Maltese economy and represent a substantial share of the country’s GDP. MACM also promotes and supports any legislative measures which foster a healthy credit environment in Malta and at EU level.

Commenting on his appointment, Giovanni said: “I would like to thank Charles Xuereb, MACM President, for giving me the opportunity to join the Council of MACM. I hope to provide a valuable contribution to the workings of the Council during my term, sharing my experience in credit management, developed in the financial services industry over the last 25 years, in Malta and abroad.”
