Bay Street welcomed shoppers to 12 new brands/stores, and a facelift of one of Malta’s most sought after shopping locations.

“Bay Street’s redevelopment has been no ordinary transformation. Actually, it has been an evolution from the ground up. With the refurbishment of the infrastructure completed, Bay Street is now open with a completely renovated brand mix, designed perfectly to meet the needs of both the locals and tourists. The mall now homes a diverse restaurant offering, the most popular retail brands and entertainment venues,” said Bay Street Group CEO Albert Galea.

Following the re-opening of its shops, Bay Street visitors do not just get to enjoy their favourite mall, but they can also benefit from a variety of new brands/shops that are now available. The 12 new shops are: Costa, Lindex, Sunlab, Harmont & Blaine, Gant, The Modelshop, Springfield, Swarovski, Urban Bratz, Calliope, Terranova and KIKO.

The mall’s transformation is however far from over. In fact, in the coming months, Bay Street will see several other brands and shops find their home at the mall. By the end of 2021 visitors will also find available the following brands: Rainforest Cafe, Lucy, Bortex, HEBE, Swatch, Dolce, Exotique, M&S, Original Marines, Missguided, Cioccolatitaliani, Pascucci and Salaad Box; apart from continuing to enjoy the existing brands found within the mall: Sterling Jewellers, Adidas, Skechers, Accessorize, Travellers, Jennyfer, Tommy Hilfiger, Armani Exchange, McDonald’s, Franks, Aldo, L’Occitane, Cortefiel, Women’Secret, Guess, Fluid, Planet Hollywood and Multimaxx.

Putting their customers first, Bay Street wants to ensure that each person visiting and shopping at the mall, feels valued and is also able to shop without needing to worry about parking. In their renovation period, the mall ensured that increased parking was made a priority. Bay Street currently hosts over 280 spaces for Bay Street customers to use for free with every purchase. The free parking convenience coupled with the very best offering in retail and lifestyle venues, makes Bay Street a unique location on the island.

‘’Our aim at Bay Street is to create a destination for everyone to enjoy conveniently. The works that are now almost complete serve as testament to this. Together with all our business partners we are very satisfied with the end product. We are convinced that the community will enjoy and appreciate the large investment done at Bay Street,’’ concluded Galea.
