Bishop Anton Theuma meets the Board of APS Bank

The newly appointed Bishop of Gozo, His Lordship Msgr Anton Theuma, recently paid a courtesy visit to the Board of Directors of APS Bank, where the Diocese of Gozo is the second largest shareholder.

The meeting took place at the Bank’s Head Office in Swatar where Msgr Theuma was greeted by Chairman Frederick Mifsud Bonnici who spoke about the Bank’s important role as a leading community bank in the Maltese Islands. On his part Msgr Theuma expressed his appreciation of the Bank’s contribution to the islands’ economic and social welfare especially in these challenging times of the pandemic.

Bishop Theuma’s visit was constrained by the stringent Covid-19 protocols in place at APS Bank however he looks forward to a future opportunity of meeting more of the Bank’s staff comprising 12 nationalities, including a significant population of Gozitans.
