The Malta Business Weekly

The Malta Hotels and Restaurants Association (MHRA) reiterates its satisfaction that Government keeps supporting businesses and employees in striving during such difficult times caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

MHRA President Tony Zahra states that, “the continuous support which Government is giving to businesses facing difficulties is a clear demonstration that our decision makers believe that investing in our economy to keep it going is the best way to manage its way out successfully from what is a very difficult situation for all.”

MHRA is pleased to note that the schemes announced earlier today by Prime Minister Dr Robert Abela and Minister for Energy, Enterprise, and Sustainable Development Dr Miriam Dalli, include the extension of current incentives, refined and new ones which directly or indirectly keep sustaining hotels and restaurants in preparing themselves to gear up for the summer season.
