The European Investment Bank (EIB) together with the Central Bank of Malta will be presenting the main results of an investment survey carried out for Malta by the EIB during a webinar entitled “Investment in the post COVID-19 era, digitalisation and climate change”.
The survey offers unique insights on the corporate investment landscape, in particular as regards firms’ investment priorities as well as their financing needs and constraints. The 2020 edition also assesses the effects of the COVID-19 crisis on companies’ investment plans, their response to climate change and the adoption of digital technology.
The webinar will also feature a presentation on economic developments and indicators of access to finance in Malta during 2020 by the Central Bank of Malta together with a panel discussion on the topic.
The Minister for Finance and Employment Clyde Caruana, together with the EIB Vice-President Dario Scannapieco and the CBM Governor Edward Scicluna will also address the meeting.
The event will be held on Monday 3 May at 2pm, and is open to the public.
Registration is free. Visit the EIB event website here for more information and registration.
