The Farsons Group announces two new additions to its senior management team.
Sean Portelli, Business Manager at Quintano Foods Limited for the past five years, takes on the role of General Manager of the company. Quintano Foods Limited is the food importation arm of Farsons Group representing worldwide brands such as Danone and the PepsiCo food portfolio including Quaker, Doritos, Walkers and Tropicana.
Mr Portelli commented, “It is truly a privilege to be part of the Farsons Group. Five years have flown since I joined with a strong will and a determination to achieve improved results for Quintano Foods. I thank my team and colleagues for their hard work together with the Chairman and CEO for entrusting me with increased responsibilities in this new role. I look forward to continued success and growth, whilst retaining the strong will and determination to perform as when I first joined.”
Gordon Naudi is a new recruit to the role of General Manager for Food Chain Limited that operates global franchises Pizza Hut, KFC and Burger King in Malta, with a new franchise to be launched later this year.
“After over 16 years in the hospitality industry, I look forward to this new challenge to help Food Chain achieve new heights and provide the best customer experience our clients expect of the company. Food Chain has a very exciting future ahead, and I am thrilled to be leading the team down this path,” said Mr Naudi.
Mr Norman Aquilina, Chief Executive Officer at Farsons Group, said “Gordon and Sean are highly seasoned managers, both being invaluable additions to our Group senior management team. I am confident that they will be taking a leading role in the implementation of our plans to further develop our food business and look forward to working closely with both of them.
In spite of the challenging times of today, we have put in motion some ambitious plans for both Food Chain and Quintano Foods, with some significant investments already lined up, which should ensure we are well placed in strengthening our market presence in the food business.”
