Moneybase empowers customers with more functionalities

Moneybase, Malta’s very own neobank is now offering all individuals and joint account holders free SEPA payments (Bank Transfers in Euros) which means that no fees apply for payments made on both Moneybase’s mobile app and web platform, an offer that also applies to all Calamatta Cuschieri Advisory and Discretionary account holders.

Launched two years ago by Calamatta Cuschieri, Moneybase was Malta’s first “neobank” to offer a unified payments and investments platform enabling customers and businesses to send and receive SEPA payments, person-to-person payments, pay with physical and virtual cards, as well as access over 20,000 investments all under one locally regulated and operated ecosystem.

“Offering free SEPA payments to all our customers is part of Moneybase’s promise to make money simple, convenient, efficient and accessible for everyone,” says Alan Cuschieri, founder and CEO of the Mastercard-supported platform.

Recently announced enhancements on Moneybase also include free-of-charge card top-ups to Moneybase accounts regardless of the amounts.

Moneybase has also reduced investing fees across all European, Canadian, Asian and African stock exchanges, added new stock exchanges, removed more trading-related fees and announced that all UBS Money Market Funds placed on the Moneybase platform can now be bought and sold at no cost with APY interest of up to 3.6% in Euro and 5.36% in US dollars.

Today, Moneybase is offering its services to over 40,000 clients, recently launched business accounts to over 500 companies, and investment allowing customers to manage access to over 20,000 investments including Bonds, Funds, Treasury Bills, Stocks, ETFs

Apart from live chat, Moneybase customers can access customer service through CC’s four branches or over the phone.
