GVZH has successfully completed the ISO 9001 certification as part of its drive to bolster its internal Quality Management Systems within both GVZH Advocates and GVZH Trustees Limited. The certification, issued by the Lloyds Register, makes GVZH the first Maltese law firm to adopt the rigorous ISO 9001 quality standards.

The ISO 9000 quality management systems are a set of international standards intended to enable businesses to clearly identify and consistently meet customer expectations.

Andrew J Zammit, Managing Partner of GVZH expressed his satisfaction on the accomplishment of this notable milestone in the firm’s and the wider organisation’s transformation to enhance its operational efficiency, keeping customer satisfaction at the core of the organisation’s endeavours, saying: “As strategic partners to our clients it is important that in the course of our own journey as an organisation and as individual professionals, we have a clear framework within which we operate- to ensure that the delivery of our service is seamless and consistent. The framework enables complete professional freedom within clearly defined parameters intended to deliver consistently high standards of work. It also inculcates a culture of continuous improvement – a core principle of ISO 9001- enabling us to keep humble, learning and improving our operations strategically through regular customer feedback.”

He added, “I take this opportunity to thank everyone involved in the implementation and adoption of the quality management system for their hard work and dedication in making this ambition a reality over the past 18 months.”
