Hili Ventures is marking a milestone in its growing retail property portfolio as The Point Shopping Mall, which has unveiled an exciting new upgrade, celebrates its 15-year anniversary.

Since its opening in 2010, The Point has set the standard for retail excellence in Malta, blending world-class brands, engaging customer experiences, and a strategic location that attracts over 2.5 million visitors annually. In 2024, through its subsidiary Marsamxett Properties Ltd., Hili Ventures acquired full ownership of Tigné Mall, integrating The Point into its European real estate portfolio.

Now, as it reaches this 15-year milestone, the mall has embraced a vibrant transformation to make The Point feel more welcoming and contemporary. The refurbishment was designed to enhance the mall’s warmth, flow, and recreational areas.

Commenting on this milestone, CEO of The Point Shopping Mall, Edwin Borg, said: “The Point has continuously evolved over the past 15 years, adapting to shifting consumer expectations and reinforcing its position as Malta’s premier retail hub. As a new chapter begins, we are well- positioned to continue investing in The Point’s future and strengthening its role in Malta’s retail landscape.”

The refurbishment incorporates warm timber finishes, greenery and improved wayfinding features. Additional communal areas, upgraded dining spaces, and expanded restroom facilities cater to evolving visitor needs, while new digital installations, including LED screens, will create a more immersive environment for promotions and events.

The anniversary celebrations will include a “15 Years of Moments” campaign, with the newly refreshed spaces serving as a backdrop for an exciting lineup of events, interactive experiences, and exclusive retail promotions. The main event on March 22 will feature live entertainment, family-friendly activities and a grand prize raffle.
