Industrial space was allocated for 11 Gozitan micro enterprises within the new Tal-Hofra Workshop Complex in Xewkija, a facility currently under construction with the expected handover in the upcoming months, according to a press statement issued by the Malta Enterprise.
The entrepreneurs are engaged in diverse local trades including woodworks, aluminium works, upholstery, wrought iron, as well as marble and granite, the press statement says.
“The project at Tal-Hofra, which is co-financed through the ERDF, will see the construction of 15 units with different sizes. Between them, the enterprises at the workshop complex are forecast to employ a total of 30 full-time employees by the end of 2023,” according to Malta Enterprise.
