MaltaPost employees were given an update on the company’s performance for the previous year by Chairman Joseph Said at the Annual Staff Meeting held recently at the Westin Dragonara Resort, St Julian’s. Throughout the event, various postal employees were presented with special awards for their positive performance during the past year.

The awards form part of a series of motivational incentives that MaltaPost offers to its staff. Performance is monitored on a regular basis and the best achieving team is awarded on a quarterly basis.  Joseph Gafa, CEO of MaltaPost, stated that “The staff recognition programme was developed by MaltaPost to reward excellent customer service and a “people-first” attitude.”

This year, the “Best Operations Unit Award” was won by the Courier Section. The “Best Retail Branch Award” was won by the Marsa Head Office outlet for the quality of service given to customers and for the upkeep of the premises.
