The seasonally-adjusted index of industrial production increased by 1.9% in June 2019, compared to the previous month of the same year, according to the latest figures published by the National Statistics Office (NSO). The working-day adjusted index of industrial production increased by a y.o.y. 1.7%.
In a year-on-year comparison, increases were registered in the production of energy (15.7%) and capital goods (2.3%) while the production of intermediate goods and consumer goods decreased by 2.3% and 1.6%, respectively.
In a month-on-month comparison, increases were registered in the production of energy (4.7%), consumer goods (4.55) and capital goods (2.5%) while the production of intermediate goods saw a decrease of 2.6%.
