Audit and advisory firm Mazars Malta has reinforced its management team through the appointment of two of its executives, Davide Mula and Michelle Bray Johnstone, to senior positions in the firm, as Accounting managers.

Mula joined Mazars in July 2015 as an Accounts senior. His career in the accounting profession started 13 years ago as an Accounts clerk in a private industry company, before enrolling at the University of Malta. Upon obtaining his accounting degree, he joined the Accounts Department of a Big Four firm in 2012, where he was also seconded abroad in the Financial Crime sub-service line, providing assistance in Customer Due Diligence. During the past eight years, he has gained experience in various industry sectors.

Bray Johnstone joined Mazars in March 2015 as an Accounts supervisor. Her career in the accounting profession started 11 years ago after graduating as an Economics Honour’s student from the University of Malta. She then proceeded to obtain her ACCA qualification while working as a junior auditor with a Big Four firm. As an accountant, during the past eight years she has gained experience in various industry sectors.

Commenting on these recent appointments, Mazars Malta managing partner Anthony Attard stated that “the growth we are experiencing as a firm prompts the need to further invest in various specialised service areas, while providing opportunities for career advancement for a number of our professional staff members. This will allow us to continue delivering customised solutions which address clients’ challenges in a bespoke manner through the input of a dedicated team of experts, combining both local market knowledge and global technical advice. This approach consolidates our position as one of the leading audit and advisory firms on the local market”.
