New chairman appointed at Hili Properties plc

Hili Properties plc has announced that Pier Luca Demajo has been appointed chairman and non-executive director of the company with effect from 1 September.

Geoffrey Camilleri has resigned as acting chairman. Camilleri has retained his post as a director of the company.

Demajo brings many years of commercial experience and insight to the chairmanship of Hili Properties. Throughout his career, he has created and managed several companies operating in diverse sectors in Malta, including technology, manufacturing, tourism, distribution, contracting and financial services.

Demajo served as chief Executive officer of the M. Demajo Group from 2008 to 2019 and is now a Group director. He is also the Honorary Consul of Canada.
