On Thursday, 12 October 2023, the Malta Sustainability Forum (MSF), organised by APS Bank, will hold its third event of the year, entitled ‘Affordable Housing Solutions.’ This livestreamed event aims to raise awareness about the critical need for affordable housing solutions.

Having adequate and affordable housing is a key driver and contributor towards achieving all 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The event will showcase perspectives from both local and international experts, supported by research, shedding light on the current housing situation. A dynamic panel discussion will examine affordable housing solutions in Malta and their sustainability. The session will conclude with practical suggestions towards future sustainable actions.

Liana DeBattista, Chief Strategy Officer at APS Bank, commented, “Affordable housing isn’t just about having a roof over our heads; it’s a cornerstone for sustainable development. By ensuring homes are within reach for all, we pave the way towards achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, fostering inclusive communities and a brighter future for everyone.”

MSF was launched in 2019 with the objective of raising awareness about sustainability, empowering citizens to make conscious decisions towards a more sustainable life. Sustainability lies at the heart of APS Bank’s mission, underpinning its business strategy and forming a core pillar of its Corporate Social Responsibility Programme.
