NnG Promotions are proud to announce the island’s annual staple Joseph Calleja concert in 2020. The national spectacle will take place on Friday 4th September at the Granaries in Floriana.

Homegrown, leading and grammy-nominated tenor Joseph Calleja will once again join musical forces with Zucchero, popularly known as ‘the father of Italian blues’, with international hits “Diamante”, “Il Volo”, “Baila morena”, and the duet ‘Senza una donna’.

To date, Zucchero has sold over 60 million records around the world, winning numerous competitions and awards, including four Festivalbar editions, nine Wind Music Awards, two World Music Awards, six IFPI Europe Platinum Awards, and a Grammy Award nomination. The Italian household name has collaborated and performed with Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Brian May, Miles Davis, Ray Charles, B. B. King, Sting, Bono, Dolores O’Riordan, Paul Young, Peter Gabriel, Luciano Pavarotti, and Andrea Bocelli. Patrons can expect songs from the superstars’ new album released last November and performed live for the very first time just last June.

Combined with Joseph Calleja’s golden-age voice and the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra, the 4th of September promises to be yet another unforgettable celebration of music under the stars.

In the wake of Covid-19, NnG Promotions continues to put the safety of patrons at the heart of its priorities. The event will be adhering to all Public Health guidelines and procedures monitoring developments constantly and taking all action as required. In this, concert-goers are informed that should any new social distancing guidelines affect this event, seat positioning is subject to follow such guidelines, but will not affect the order of seating.

Tickets for Malta will go on-sale to the public on Monday 20th July exclusively from www.showshappening.com. Members of NNG Promotions mailing list will have access to purchase tickets through an advance pre-sale on Friday 17th July from 10am.
