Paymentworld Europe appoints new Director of Sales

Paymentworld Europe Ltd. has announced the appointment of Ronald Baas as their new Director of Sales.

Baas is a seasoned executive across industries, with eight years of proven experience in the Payments sector. He brings a wealth of industry knowledge and a vast network, having worked with established brands such as Expedia, Worldpay, WEX, Ikano Bank, Aegon, and Shell.

Baas is a Dutch national who holds a bachelor degree in Marketing from the Amsterdam School of Applied Sciences.

Referring to this new appointment, Jens Podewski, CEO and co-founder of Paymentworld Europe, stated that “the company has been growing consistently year-on-year, not just in terms of revenue but also in terms of personnel, our product portfolio, and our client base. Ronald Baas will be filling in a new position within the company, and he will help us accelerate our growth and make further inroads in the European and UK payments markets”.

Baas commented that “the company has big plans for the future and I am excited to be joining a successful team that is ambitious, experienced, and client-focused”.
