Malta Hospice Movement receives €115,000 donation
The Malta Hospice Movement has received a €115,000 donation from Farsons Foundation, Farrugia Investments and Multigas Limited for the establishment of the St Michael Hospice complex. The funding is available for a three-year period.
HSBC customers’ credit card payments support Hospice Malta in April
Through its recent campaign, HSBC Bank Malta made a donation to Hospice Malta after every credit card transaction made by the bank’s customers in April, according to a news release. The bank says did not charge any fee for this activity to its customers.
Fireworks factories receive €5,000 fund each
Arts Council Malta — overseen by Ministry for Justice, Culture and Local Government — awards a €5,000 fund to 28 fireworks factories each to improve safety practices in pyrotechnics. The funding scheme is running for the second year.
