Gozo to host UNESCO Art Camp again
Malta will be hosting the Art Camp project by UNESCO for the third time after 2015 and 2017. The event will take place from 24 October to 5 November at tal-Fanal in Gozo.
HM launches project on studying human skulls
Heritage Malta (HM) has teamed up with Superintendence of Cultural HM and Macquarie University in Sydney Australia to start an international interdisciplinary project for studying the surviving human skulls from the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ħal Saflieni Hypogeum. This project will be funded with €6,000 by the Union Académique Internationale.
Maltese environment minister promotes cultural heritage protection in Greece
A conference organised by the Greek government in Athens on the impacts of climate change on cultural heritage was addressed by Maltese Minister for the Environment, Sustainable Development and Climate Change José Herrera, under the auspices of the UNESCO, ahead of the United Nations Summit next September.

HSBC Malta partnered up with UNESCO Maltese National Commission to publish a booklet entitled Mixja F’Wied Il-Għasel (A walk in the Valley of Honey) to highlight the important role of the flora and fauna in the valley in Mosta.
