The Association of Catering Establishments launches ‘State of the Industry’ conference

The Association of Catering Establishments is pleased to announce its annual conference titled “State of the Industry” on the occasion of its fifth anniversary.

This conference, scheduled for 12 November, will address the realities and challenges faced by various economic operators in the catering industry. Topics will include the National Tourism Strategy 2021–2030, the role of Government and financial institutions, international realities related to importation and supply chains, and the environmental targets set by the European Union, including changes brought about by BCRS. Additionally, the ongoing pressure on employers in this industry to find employees will be a key focus.

Among the distinguished speakers at the conference are the Minister for Tourism, Clayton Bartolo, the Minister for the Environment, Miriam Dalli, and the Shadow Minister for Tourism, Dr Mario de Marco, who will share their insights and visions for the future of the industry.
