AX The Victoria was recognised as Malta’s Top 10 Hotels by TripAdvisor, according to a press statement published by AX Hotels. The accolade comes a week after an award from booking.com recognised AX The Saint John.

Based on reviews and opinions from millions of travellers, AX The Victoria was given the Travellers’ Choice awards by TripAdvisor, ranking the hotel in the top 1% of all hotels, the press statement says.

“Last year AX The Victoria has gone through a total refurbishment, and I am thrilled that people are responding to it so positively. Our hotel is all about treating our guests like royalty in a classic Victorian style. As I like to say 5-star service in 4-star accommodation,” says Kevin Callus, AX Hotels Sliema Manager commented about the award.

“I was very pleased to learn about the awards that our chain AX Hotels is receiving. Our mission with each of our properties is to offer outstanding service within unique and distinctive surroundings,” says Claire Zammit Xuereb, AX Hospitality Director. “So each of our properties has the edge over each other as well as our competition. AX The Saint John is designed with an Industrial concept in mind while still blending in the Baroque aspect of the building, thereby creating a unique experience – it’s ideal for tech-savvy, independent travellers. While AX The Victoria honours the Victorian style and offers comfort that couples or families would seek in a city hotel. A hotel with a special charm driven by its people. I am glad that our vision translates into guests’ positive experiences. Well done to AX Hotels’ teams,” the director adds

AX Hotels is one of the largest hotel chains on the island and is a member of AX Group. This hotel chain consists of six hotels and will open doors of its 7th property mid-2019, the company says.
