“Food plays an important role in every single workplace”

Wolt continues to expand in Malta with the launch of its Wolt at Work service. With Wolt at Work, companies can empower their teams to conveniently get great food from nearby restaurants and handle all meal expenses with one monthly invoice.

“Our goal is to bring our amazing selection of restaurants and retailers to workplaces, and make the process as smooth as possible for both the employers and their employees,” says Justin Hwa, Global Head of Wolt at Work.

Technology company Wolt has announced the launch of its Wolt at Work service in Malta. With the service, companies can empower teams and employees to conveniently get food from nearby restaurants and manage all their meal expenses with one monthly invoice.

“Food plays an important role in every single workplace. We eat lunch, hold business meetings over finger food, order catering for company events, and so forth. The problem is that arranging the food for day-to-day business occasions is often tedious and hard to manage. Our goal is to bring our amazing selection of restaurants and retailers to workplaces, and make the process as smooth as possible for both the employers and their employees,” says Justin Hwa, Global Head of Wolt at Work.

With Wolt at Work, companies can set meal budgets, designated times, and delivery areas for their teams’ orders. This flexibility, according to Hwa, means the service can be used in a variety of ways, depending on the needs of the company.

“Many of our clients use our platform to save their office managers hours of work organizing food for the office. Yet, providing employees meal benefits is one of the most important and impactful reasons our clients use our service. With Wolt at Work, companies can easily offer great food to their employees regardless of whether they work from home or at the office. As competition over talent has become more and more fierce, we are here to help companies keep their people happy,” Hwa continues.

Wolt at Work today works with thousands of partner companies across Wolt countries. In Malta, Wolt at Work is the chosen partner for companies in the gaming, financial technology, and professional services industries.
