Annual Farsons Group management meeting held in person again

The Farsons Group annual management meeting was once again held in person after being held online last year.

Always a highly anticipated event that brings together members of management before the year’s end, the meeting featured guest speaker Mr Simon Vaughan Johnson, Chief Executive Officer, HSBC Bank Malta p.l.c., and was hosted by Farsons Group Chairman, Mr Louis A. Farrugia and Farsons Group Chief Executive Officer, Mr Norman Aquilina.

Mr Vaughan Johnson, interviewed by Group Human Resources Manager and Company Secretary, Ms Antoinette Caruana, talked about the challenges and opportunities he faced throughout his 35-year career with HSBC, as well as the highlights and defining moments. He also talked about what attracted him to take up his current role in Malta and the major challenges he faced in taking up these responsibilities at the start of a global pandemic. While reflecting on the key learnings and take-aways from the past 18 months, he also shared his hopes and expectations for the future.

The interview was followed by a Campari Group information and tasting session. The Campari Group portfolio is represented in Malta by Farsons Beverage Imports Company (FBIC) Limited, a member of the Farsons Group.
