The Board of Directors of APS Bank recently gathered with the Senior Management team to discuss the Business Plan for 2022-2024. The offsite workshop is the culmination of an annual planning process which starts in July and sees the engagement of units from across the organisation. The event consisted of presentations and discussions around the strategic objectives for the rolling 3-year Plan and the main priorities for their implementation. In December the Board meets again to formally discuss and approve the Business Plan, including the more detailed Budgets 2022.
Commenting on the outcomes of the event, CEO Marcel Cassar said: “The workshop is an important date in our calendar as it brings together months of active deliberations and feedback in a structured document which then becomes our new Business Plan. It is an inclusive process reflecting best governance practices and it challenges our business model, culture, brand, customer trends as well as the Group’s transformation and innovation agenda.”
