Betway signed former England cricketer Kevin Pietersen as its Global Cricket Ambassador for 2019, according to a press release sent to Business Malta. Mr Pietersen will provide insight and tips during the Ashes, which is a cricket competition series between England and Australia, as part of his new role.
Mr Pietersen’s role will also feature on the Betway Insider which is the company’s online sports blog.
Betway will support content highlighting the work of SORAI (Save our Rhinos Africa & India) which was founded by Mr Pietersen after his introduction to wildlife preservation when he experienced a rhino tagging operation. In addition, he took part in different fundraising projects working with endangered animals in Africa and India, as the press release sent to BM says.
“This has already been such an exciting year for cricket and I am delighted to be working with Betway and sharing my love of the game with fellow fans,” said Mr Pietersen.
