Epic Malta has been named as Malta fastest mobile network for the second half of 2023 by the Ookla® Speedtest Awards. This accolade is a testament to Epic’s commitment to empowering both individual consumers and business clients with exceptional network services.

Since its launch in Malta in 2020, Epic has not only evolved to meet the expectations of the Maltese community but has also become a pivotal partner for businesses. The company’s strategic investments in technology and infrastructure, in partnership with global leader Ericsson, have been instrumental in building a network that supports the dynamic needs of businesses. This €40 million investment represents a significant stride towards Malta’s digital future, enabling businesses to thrive through enhanced connectivity and helping consumers unlock their full potential.

Ookla, the global leader in internet testing and analysis, has recognized Epic’s commitment to delivering a superior network experience. “After conducting an in-depth analysis of consumer-initiated tests taken with Speedtest, Epic has been named the Fastest Mobile Network in Malta by Ookla’s Speedtest Awards,” said Stephen Bye, President and CEO of Ookla. “This award is given to mobile network operators that demonstrate exceptional speed and performance in comparison to other major networks in the market for Q3-Q4 2023.”

Pierre-Etienne Cizeron, Epic’s CEO, shared his thoughts on this achievement: “When Epic launched in Malta, we set out to build our strongest network ever. Today, not only have we delivered on that promise, but we’re also providing an award-winning service – the best in Malta”.

Epic continues to forge ahead with its vision to revolutionize the telecommunications landscape in Malta, driven by a commitment to quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction. This latest recognition from Ookla is not just an award – it’s a reflection of Epic’s journey as an integral part of Malta’s digital future.
