Telecoms services provider to connect siloed systems to deliver a better customer experience for its 500,000 users

GO, Malta’s leading telecoms services provider, has chosen Oracle NetSuite to help deliver a superior experience for its customers. With NetSuite, GO will be able to gain a unified view into its operations by integrating core business functions. The implementation will be managed by Smart Technologies and marks a significant step in the telecoms service provider’s wider digital transformation efforts.

GO has been connecting consumers and businesses across Malta for 45 years and currently provides mobile, fixed line, Internet, and TV services to more than 500,000 customers. To continue to deliver the best possible customer experience, GO needed to replace its existing business applications with an integrated system that could automate core processes and provide a single view across finance, procurement, inventory and retail point-of-sale. After careful evaluation, GO selected NetSuite to improve efficiencies and provide a seamless customer experience.

“Oracle NetSuite, through its rich and proven functionality, can help our business take a big leap forward while also giving us the peace of mind of being supported by a reliable supplier and partner,” said Kelvin Camenzuli, chief digital officer, GO. “Our aim is that NetSuite, as a pure cloud-based solution, will bring a reduction in our capital expenditure and reduce the overall cost of our operations. We are looking forward to reaping the success of this journey we have embarked on and delivering superior service for our customers.”

With NetSuite, GO will be able to accelerate financial processes and ensure compliance. In addition, by providing a complete and integrated suite of cloud applications, NetSuite will provide GO with real-time visibility into the financial performance of its business from a consolidated level down to individual transactions.

“We are very proud to have been entrusted by Malta’s leading telecoms brand for this important project of implementing NetSuite,” said Joe Aquilina, CEO of Smart Technologies. “Together with our partner, NetU from Cyprus, we will help GO make its operations more seamless, efficient, and profitable. We are honoured to work with GO to help it stay ahead of the competition and strengthen its customer service.”
