The first 2,000 HSBC Bank Malta customers who download the HSBC Mobile Banking application and register for this free service for the first time by 30 November 2021 will receive €5 into their account by end December 2021.

Using the HSBC Mobile app, customers can check their account balances, track their account transactions, move money with ease, and send money to saved payees in just a few seconds.

After a recent update to the app, users can enjoy an improved user interface layout and a new, in-depth search functionality. Additionally, online card transactions can now be authenticated through the mobile app making mobile payments simpler whilst enhancing security.

The application comes with state-of-the-art security functions: users can log on with Apple Touch, Face ID, Android Fingerprint as well as with unique security devices if their phones are compatible.

Ian Casingena, Head of Customer and Products at HSBC Malta, said: “Using the HSBC Mobile app, our customers can easily stay in full control of their finances. HSBC Malta is also committed to the highest security standards, helping to ensure customers remain safe while managing their finances in the online world.”
