Teams and Alumni from the JAYE Malta to appear on hit show

Junior Achievement Young Enterprise (JAYE) Malta, is proud to announce a collaboration with Shark Tank Malta to provide further educational and entrepreneurial opportunities for Malta’s youth.

As a result of this collaboration intended to further enhance and develop the local start-up scene, several JAYE teams and alumni successfully submitted their application and pitched their companies to the Sharks to participate in the upcoming programme.

“At JAYE Malta, we are committed to providing opportunities for the youth to develop their entrepreneurial skills that will help them become leaders of the future. Through this collaboration with Shark Tank Malta, we are presenting them with unparalleled opportunities that can launch their product and that will give them a unique experience to pitch to industry leaders and investors,” said Chris Vassallo Cesareo, Chairman of JAYE Malta.

The teams from the JAYE Malta were offered the opportunity to pitch their products to the Sharks, and, following high-level training and preparation provided by JAYE Malta, all the teams who took up this offer were selected to participate in the show that will air in April.

“We are very pleased to be offering this opportunity to the JAYE Malta teams; we believe in encouraging the youth and believe that Shark Tank Malta will be an enriching life experience for all the young people who successfully pitched their products. I am looking forward to the enthusiasm that they will bring to the show,” remarked Mark Grech, from Greatt Company Limited, the producers behind Shark Tank Malta.

As the local start-up scene goes from strength to strength, this collaboration, which was established just this year, is set to further develop the industry by fostering opportunities for the youth cohort. Testament to this – besides the teams appearing on Shark Tank Malta, the Sharks will also be present at the JAYE Malta Marketplace at Tigne Point on 26March.

JAYE Malta has provided high-quality education programmes to young people living in Malta and Gozo since 1988, offering them the platform to nurture their entrepreneurial mindset and broaden their horizons. The foundation of JAYE lies in their hands-on programmes that build experience in the areas of business, financial capability, employability, and entrepreneurship.
