Launches support packages in response to MTA incentive scheme
One of Malta’s leading digital marketing agencies has launched a new initiative to help the island’s tourism industry rebuild and recover from the pandemic.
The award-winning team at Keen will help businesses in the hospitality sector make the most of a new Malta Tourism Authority incentive scheme to attract holidaymakers to the Maltese Islands this year successfully.
With a budget of €1.5 million, guest houses and boutique hotels will be eligible for up to €1,000 per property, two-star hotels up to €500 per property and self-catering apartments and licensed hostels up to €250 per property in rebates related to digital marketing costs spent on advertising to international tourists.
Keen will host a series of online marketing training sessions for tourism businesses, being one-to-one or group coaching, with a special emphasis on utilising the power of Facebook, Instagram, Google and YouTube.
Keen managing director John Falzon said: ‘We believe tourism is a force for good and brings social, economic and wellbeing benefits to every corner of Malta and Gozo.
‘Our team will carefully guide operators through the MTA incentive application process and our digital marketing training sessions will help them gain new strength and confidence to refresh and recover.’
Director Carolin Hyzyk added: ‘Keen is ready to help tourism businesses promote what they do best and let visitors know they’re geared up to once again exceed customer expectations using the opportunities of digital marketing channels.’
‘Our experienced team can assist them, get into the best shape to embrace the potential of modern marketing and sales funnels, show how Google My Business works, and ensure their online business listings stand out from the crowd.’
For suppliers who prefer to leave all elements of the campaign management to an experienced and certified team, the Keen experts offer a holistic approach including strategy, design, execution, optimisation and reporting.
We are keen to assist the tourism industry to recalibrate and reboot successfully by achieving measurable results for Malta together.
