Melita has confirmed that, following a software upgrade by Apple to iOS 15.4, its nationwide 5G network is now available on all iPhone 12 and iPhone 13 models. Melita customers with a 5G enabled device and Endless or Business 5G mobile plans, have been enjoying nationwide 5G since May 2021. However, this latest software upgrade means customers with the latest iPhones can now also enjoy 5G across Malta and Gozo.

For customers interested in one of the latest 5G devices, Melita is currently offering the iPhone13, with 128 GB storage for an upfront fee of just €109, followed by a two-year, interest free, payment plan at €35 per month.

Mireille Muscat, Head of Marketing at Melita Limited, said, “Melita’s investments in infrastructure over recent years have delivered both fixed and mobile networks to rival any in Europe. Our ability to provide 5G mobile connectivity and 1,000 Mbps internet across Malta and Gozo remains unique and underpins the continued growth in our business across residential and business segments. This latest development continues to expand access to these networks for our customers and will certainly also strengthen our already high customer satisfaction ratings.”
