Melita provides €50,000 in support of good causes

Melita Limited has provided more than €50,000 in support to a range of charities and NGOs over the past twelve months. This support comes on top of the work of The Melita Foundation which operates independently of the company and has provided more than €500,000 to support the community.

The organisations supported by Melita include: Caritas Malta, The Malta Community Chest Fund Foundation, Dar tal-Providenza, Hospice Malta, Richmond Foundation, Puttinu Cares and the Multiple Sclerosis Society. In addition to financial support, Melita also donated food and equipment to organisations such as Fondazzjoni Sebħ, Foodbank Lifeline Foundation and Dar Merħba Bik. Animal sanctuaries including CSAF and AAA, as well as cat feeders across the island, also benefitted.

Kevin Borg, CCO at Melita Limited, said, “Melita has always played an important role in supporting Maltese society develop. From the provision of cutting-edge infrastructure and connectivity which helps our communities and businesses to thrive to providing financial and material support for those who need it most, we remain committed to helping as much as we can.”
