APS Bank continues to put the safety of the community as a priority.

As from Monday 26th October, the Bank will be introducing a number of preventive measures designed to contain the spread of COVID-19. The branch network’s opening hours will be updated as follows: Monday to Friday open between 9:30 and 14:00, and Saturday between 9:30 and 12:00. From Monday to Friday the Bank will continue to give priority service to customers aged 60+ between 9:30 and 10:30.

Furthermore, the APS Branch at Floriana will be closed until further notice, although the ATM and Deposit Machine on site remain available.

A number of additional measures are also being put in place to ensure customers can continue accessing all everyday banking services conveniently and easily while protecting their safety and that of APS staff. One of these measures is the introduction of Microsoft Teams meetings for all consultations, meaning customers can stay in the comfort of their own home while getting professional banking advice. Others include the requirement that cash withdrawals up to €1,000 and all deposits be conducted through the Bank’s ATMs and Deposit Machines, while loan drawdown requests will be moved to happen through the myAPS internet and mobile banking message hub. All APS Bank ATMs and Deposit Machines will also have hand sanitiser dispensers installed.

Anthony Buttigieg, Chief Banking Officer at APS Bank said, “With the introduction of these measures, customers can continue accessing our high standards of customer care and service through digital and online channels anytime, anywhere. While our branch network remains accessible, we are focusing on making sure there is less need to visit us physically in these uncertain times.”
