Second edition of the Malta Business Awards launched

Following the success of the first edition of the Malta Business Awards, the second edition of the Malta Business Awards was launched today. The awards are being organised by the Malta Chamber of SMEs in collaboration with Malta Enterprise and the Ministry for the Environment, Energy and Enterprise.

The applications are now open and nominations can be submitted until 31st July.

The Malta Business Awards was launched by the Minister for Enterprise Miriam Dalli together with Malta Enterprise CEO Kurt Farrugia, Chamber of SMEs President Paul Abela and CEO Abigail Agius Mamo.

Minister Miriam Dalli stated that economic growth was being driven by the dedication and hard work of the enterprises in our country.

“These awards should serve as an inspiration to our enterprises to be more sustainable, digital, serve the needs of their customers and ensure competitiveness. We want every business in Malta to reach and exceed its own goals whilst offering excellent services and products, which not only serve customers in our country but also overseas,” said Minister Dalli.

She added how the Malta Business Awards serve as a platform to promote success stories, where businesses learn from each other. “Above all, they are an opportunity for enterprises to improve its service and processes,” concluded Minister Dalli.

The Malta Chamber for SMEs CEO Abigail Agius Mamo encouraged businesses to apply for the Malta Business Awards by visiting the site www.maltabusinessawards.mt by July 31st. Agius Mamo explained how companies can apply for more than one award. She also announced that the shortlist will be announced on September 11th and the finalists will be announced on October 30th. The Awards night will then take place on December 1st, 2023.
