Treasury announces 0.108% p.a. interest rate linked to Euribor

​The Treasury announced that the interest rate in respect of Floating Rate Malta Government Stock 2019 (VI) linked to the six-month Euribor for the period from 27 May 2019 to 26 November 2019 (both dates inclusive) is 0.108% p.a., according to a press release by the government’s Department of Information (DOI).

The interest rate is based on the six-month Euribor as determined and published on Thursday 23rd May 2019 at minus 0.242% plus a spread of 35 basis points.

The announcement was issued “pursuant to para 6(e) of the Prospectus published in the Government Gazette of the 20th November 2015 under Government Notice No. 1143,” according to the press statement.
