APS Bank, in conjunction with the Foundation for Church Schools, has launched a new product targeted at supporting schools falling within the scope of the Foundation. It consists of a financing package to assist with refurbishments or upgrades of facilities, such as gyms, technology and science laboratories, libraries, canteens, classrooms and playgrounds. The ‘APS Church School Loan’ offers multiple competitive features including an improved interest rate, repayment terms and fees, available for the next five years.

Fr Charles Mallia, Episcopal Conference Delegate for Church Schools and Foundation for Church Schools secretary said, “Church schools are constantly investing and improving their education provision for the benefit of their students. This is thanks to the donations given by the parents. Such loans at a reduced rate will alleviate the burden of our schools especially when there are big projects. Thank you APS”

Anthony Buttigieg, Chief Banking Officer commented: “We are proud to be collaborating with the Foundation for Church Schools in the further development and upgrading of schools in Malta and Gozo to develop further. To us, this project is also a trial for potential future collaborations with other educational institutions.”
