WH Partners is pleased to announce the appointment of two new partners, Davinia Cutajar and Fabrizio Speranza.

Davinia Cutajar is a corporate, trust, and relocation lawyer, who also has significant experience in property law and litigation. Prior to joining WH Partners she was managing partner of another Maltese law firm.

Fabrizio Speranza heads WH Partners’ Italian desk. He is an avvocato in Italy, and since 2013 he has practised as a European Registered Lawyer in Malta. He joined WH Partners as a Senior Associate early in 2018 and regularly advises on company law, commercial matters, trusts and foundations.

At WH Partners, Davinia will support the continued development of the Corporate, Trusts, Foundation and Relocation practice areas and will work closely with the firm’s Real Estate and Dispute Resolution practice groups. Fabrizio will continue to have a lead role in relationship management with the firm’s Italian clients, private clients, and will focus on the growth of WH Partners’ Trusts and Foundation practice areas together with Davinia.

Commenting on the new appointments Co-Managing Partner James Scicluna said: “Davinia joined us recently and has already proved that she has the organisational and technical skills required of a partner at our firm. Fabrizio is a known quantity to us. We have successfully worked together for over two years at WH Partners. His ability to seamlessly and thoroughly deal with our Italian clients, as well as important private clients of our firm are unquestionable. Davinia and Fabrizio are valuable additions to our partnership team. Both will strengthen our capacity to deliver top, international standard support to clients at a difficult, challenging time for all. I am looking forward to our continued work together.”

Davinia was admitted to practice law in Malta in March 2006 and has been a member of Malta’s Chamber of Advocates since. She is a member of the Malta’s Institute for Financial Services Practitioners (“IFSP”) and forms part of the IFSP’s Sub-Committee on Compliance.

Throughout his career Fabrizio has worked both in private practice and in-house for international leading brands such as Vodafone and DHL International. Fabrizio read law at the University of Siena and subsequently qualified as Attorney at Law in 1997. He furthered his studies at the Alma Laboris Business School in Rome, obtaining a Diploma in Corporate & Business Law.  He is a member of both Livorno’s Bar and Malta’s Chamber of Advocates, as well as a member of Malta’s STEP Executive Committee.
