KM Malta Airlines and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines sign codeshare agreement

KM Malta Airlines, the national airline of Malta, announced Thursday the signing of a unilateral codeshare agreement with KLM, the flag carrier of the Netherlands. Under this agreement, KLM will place its code on KM Malta Airlines’ 8 x weekly services between Malta (MLA) and Amsterdam Schiphol (AMS).

This codeshare initiative opens exciting opportunities for both airlines to expand their networks and offer enhanced travel experiences to their valued customers. Passengers flying with KM Malta Airlines and KLM can now enjoy a seamless travel journey, from check-in at their departure airport to baggage claim at their final destination.

KM Malta Airlines is the national airline of the Maltese Islands, operating a modern fleet of aircraft to various destinations in Europe and beyond as from Sunday. It will be replacing Air Malta, which served as the national airline for 50 years

The KM Malta Airlines Summer 2024 schedule will operate from 31st March 2024 through until 26th October 2024, with the airline serving 17 airports across 15 key European cities, namely, Amsterdam, Berlin, Brussels, Catania, Dusseldorf, London Gatwick, London Heathrow, Lyon, Madrid, Milan, Munich, Paris Charles de Gaulle, Paris Orly, Prague, Rome, Vienna and Zurich. KM Malta Airlines is eagerly anticipating welcoming its first passengers onboard its aircraft as of 31st March 2024.
