The Malta Institute of Management to offer free e-learning courses in Tourism

The Malta Institute of Management is pleased to announce that it has been entrusted by the Malta Tourism Authority and the Ministry for Tourism & Consumer Protection to deliver training as part of Empower the Tourism Workforce through E-learning scheme.

The Institute shall immediately be accepting applications for a wide range of E-learning training courses and qualifications in Tourism.

Qualifying applicants may read for courses and qualifications offered by the Malta Institute of Management, free of any tuition charges (as long as such applicants work in Tourism).

Empowering the Tourism Workforce though E-learning

The call for applications shall close on 16 May 2020, therefore those interested are urged to apply as soon as possible.

This initiative shall serve as an optimal opportunity for tourism professionals looking to fine tune their skills or obtain a recognized professional qualification, while the tourism Industry is at a standstill.

The Institute’s courses cater for all levels and offer a high degree of flexibility in terms of training methods.

Back in 2012, the Institute also collaborated with the Malta Tourism Authority on the delivery of training courses as part of The Advance Programme for Developing Leaders for Change and Innovation in Tourism Programme.
